On Last Stand Hill there are many stone markers where Custer and his men were found and first buried. Custer's headstone is easily identified, it is the only one with a black background shield. The dead have all been since moved to cemeteries around the country, Custer is now buried at West Point, the United States Milittary Academy in New York.
