| On the edge of King Edward Cove sits Grytviken, the principal settlement in the British Territory of South Georgia. Now abandoned, this used to be a whaling station established in 1904. Today, there is a small museum here staffed only during the short Antarctic summer by a few members of the British Antarctic Survey. |
