One of the world's greatest accomplishments in landscape art, Machu Picchu seems to have grown out of the mountain.  The gardens, terraces, staircases, irrigation system, and temples all appear to be natural in this setting.  Note the symmetry of the windows, the pointed roofs and the walls.  The Temple of the Sun is the rounded structure in the lower right.
