Tosho-gu is the 17th-century shrine to Ieyasu Tokugawa, a Japanese military leader and statesman, founder of the Tokugawa dynasty of shoguns.  As you pass through the stone gate into the first courtyard, there is this wonderful pagoda nestled in the trees.
