The bombed-out shell of the A-Bomb Dome (formerly Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall) is the only structure from World War II that is left in the city of Hiroshima.  It is a powerful reminder of that terrible day, but all around a new, modern city has risen.  The beautiful high-rise behind us is our hotel, the Rihga Royal.
