| Passau's Altes Rathaus came about by combining eight different houses formerly owned by patricians. At one end is a Neo-Gothic tower which was constructed in 1893, which can be seen from all around the town. The town hall is still used for city administration purposes, but also houses a small gallery of historic paintings about Passau. |
