We came to the bustling city of Caen to see this - the Mémorial de Caen. This is a museum dedicated to the history of conflict in the 20th Century and particularly World War II. It was inaugurated on June 6, 1988 (the 44th anniversary of D-day) by then French President Francois Mitterand. |
