| The youngest member of our group, Karah, was also the boldest. She ordered an Ecuadorian delicacy known as Cuy. Pronounced "Kwee", this is whole-roasted guinea pig! Yes, those same little critters many of us have at one time kept as pets are a staple in Peru and Ecuador and are raised especially for gastronomic purposes. Is that your stomach I hear rumbling?? |
