Dubrovnik

Perhaps the most famous landmark in Dubrovnik is the Onofrio Fountain, built in 1438.  Previously adorned with incredible sculpture, it was heavily damaged in the earthquake of 1667 and only 16 carved masks remain with water jets gushing from their mouths.  St. Saviour's church in the background was built in the 1520's and actually survived the 1667 quake.  You can see people ascending the walls of the city on the far left.
