| Banteay Srei means "Citadel of the Women" and contains some of the most amazing stone carvings in all of Angkor. Construction dates to 967, and the gorgeous stone used has a pinkish hue. This temple is one of the more remote sites, about 15 miles away from Angkor Wat. |
