Iguazu Falls occur over a 3 mile wide area on the river Iguazu - and forms the border here between Brazil (where the photo was taken) and Argentina (behind the falls).  On the left is Isla San Martin, and island in the river accessible only by boat which you can see leaves the mainland from the docks on the right.
