| Pam stands in some of the rice terraces close to the Amankora Punakha. If you look up on the mountain on the left, that's a school! Most people live either at the top or at the bottom in the valley, and couldn't agree where to build the school -- so they built it half-way up the mountain. This way, students have to climb one way no matter where they live. |
