| Abercrombie & Kent chartered our expedition ship with ice-strengthened hull, "Le Boréal". Here we are making our way through the ice-cluttered Weddell Sea on the way to Paulet Island. This small ship (186 passengers on this trip) is very maneuverable and when necessary actually pushed some of the ice out of the way. The cranes on top allowed lowering of the Zodiacs we used to explore Antarctica. |
