This is as close as we chose to get to the Crazy Horse Memorial, in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Not too far from Mount Rushmore, this thing is planned to have final dimensions of 641 feet wide, 563 feet high. Compare that to Mount Rushmore, where the heads of the presidents are just 60 feet high! It is being built on privately held land by a private non-profit indian organization. They charge $11 per person and use admission and concessions income to fund the project.
