| You can't go up inside the Statue of Liberty anymore. Years ago we were able to climb up inside her and gain access to her crown to look out the windows. In 1986, this original torch was replaced because it became corroded and was leaking. Now it is housed in the museum at the base of the statue where visitors are still allowed. |
