| Columbus Circle is where Broadway crosses 8th Avenue in Manhattan. Just in front of the Time-Warner Center and by the Trump Tower at the southwest corner of Central Park, it is a happening place. The monument to Christopher Columbus at its center was dedicated in 1892. The newly improved and renovated Columbus Circle opened this October weekend in 2005. |
