| This was the impetus for our visit to Las Vegas this time - the brand new, $8 billion City Center. The towers on the left are the Mandarin Oriental hotel and residences, the yellow towers are the Veer Towers (residential), the curved tower in the back is part of the Aria Casino & Resort, the blue tower on the right is the boutique Harmon hotel (not open at this time). In the foreground is the striking Crystals retail shopping center. Not seen, but behind the Harmon hotel is Vdara condo-hotel. The entire complex is located on the strip between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo. |
