Yosemite 2003

Sitting at the edge of Glacier Point you can see for miles all around, and there is an amazing view of the most recognized symbol of Yosemite.  It's easy to see how Half Dome got its name, but geologists agree that it's an optical illusion -- only about 20% of the dome is missing, the result of glacial activity.  It's peak rises 4,000 feet from the valley floor!
