We feel fortunate to be here. Of the 5 million people who visit the Grand Canyon each year, fewer than 10% visit the North Rim. It's only about 10 miles across as the raven flies, but to drive here you have to go 220 miles - about a 5 hour drive. Or, you can hike rim-to-rim crossing (23.9 miles, typically 2 days).
