Sitka, Alaska 2006

Over 100 injured bald eagles are brought to the Alaska Raptor Center each year.  Those successfully rehabilitated are released back into the wild.  Some don't make it, and others that would not survive back in the wild become part of the center's Raptors-in-Residence program.
