Northern Ireland 2003

On January 30, 1972, soldiers from the British Army's 1st Parachute Regiment opened fire on unarmed and peaceful civilian demonstrators in the Bogside, here in Derry, Northern Ireland.  The incident is known as "Bloody Sunday" -- 13 people were killed.  The area now has a number of murals in remembrance.
