| Recently completed after 5 years under construction, this is the tallest man-made structure ever built. Initially called the "Burj Dubai" (Dubai Tower) it was renamed "Burj Khalifa" in early 2010 in honor of the Sheikh from Abu Dhabi who bailed the developers out of the huge construction debt. It is a supertall skyscraper reaching 2,717 feet! Where else but Dubai?? |
