Tarangire National Park, Tanzania 2010

We began our Safari in Tanzania here at Tarangire National Park.  In Swahili, "Safari" means "Journey".  In English, the word "Safari" is used to describe a trip into any undeveloped area to see, photograph or hunt wild animals in their own environment.   Tarangire is well known for its huge number of elephants and baobob trees as you can see in the drawing.
