| The Metropolis Building is an office building in Madrid at the corner of Calle de Alcala and Gran Via. The French, Beaux-Arts style architecture was quite unusual at the time it was built, between 1907 and 1911. The rounded tower is covered with 30,000 leaves of 24 carat gold! |
