| Our first glimpse of Lake Bled on the day we arrived -- beautiful! This is an incredibly scenic glacial lake is nestled in the Julian Alps of northwestern Slovenia. Perched on the rocky outcropping is Bled Castle which dates to 1004 (early 11th century) and is one of the oldest in Slovenia. |
