| This asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge is as recognizable a landmark as Bratislava Castle. Originally named "Most Slovenského národného povstania" (Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising) it is now called "Nový Most" (New Bridge). The flying saucer-shaped structure houses a restaurant called "UFO" reached by an elevator in one of the pillars. The other pillar offers 430 stairs! |
