This is the Joint Security Area (JSA), the only portion of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) where North and South Korean forces stand face-to-face. The 3 story building in the background is Panmungak in North Korea. The blue United Nations buildings straddle the border which can be seen between the buildings where the darker concrete becomes lighter. We're going into the building on the left which is the JSA Conference Room.
