| This is the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul, inside the Peter and Paul Fortress. It was built between 1712 and 1733, and is quite different from other Russian Orthodox churches because instead of the usual bulbous domes there is a single slender spire. Starting with Peter the Great, the czars were all buried here. |
