| Also on Revolution Square is the National Museum of Art of Romania, formerly the Romanian Royal Palace. It was damaged in 1989 during the overthrow of Ceauşescu but is open again and houses notable collections of medieval and modern Romanian art, as well as the international collection assembled by the Romanian royal family. |
