For some reason, we expected Poland to be a drab, gray place.  Gdańsk far exceeded our expectations!  Not only is the city colorful and charming, but the people were open and friendly.  Long Street is particularly bright with all the narrow, painted buildings.  That is the Golden Gate at the top of the street.
