| Located in the suburbs of the modern Panama City, these are the ground of Panama Viejo (Old Panama). The city was founded in 1519 by only 100 inhabitants, and 150 years later there were 10,000 people living here when the city was sacked by the pirate Henry Morgan. Today, the ruins form an outdoor living museum. |
