Of course, where Marlo Thomas goes, so goes her husband - Phil Donahue! This guy is the quintessential American media personality. He basically invented the talk show - Donahue had a 26-year run before it ended in 1996. |

Who can forget his delivery of the totally disgusting but hilarious anti-joke "The Aristocrats" at the 2001 Friar's Club roast of Hugh Hefner? |

Remember him from "The Hollywood Squares", "The $20,000 Pyramid" and many other TV shows including guest-hosting for Johnny Carson? Well, John Davidson brought his one-man show to Corpus Christi in 2010, and at the age of nearly 69 put on a good show. Afterwards, I enjoyed reminiscing with him! |

We love watching him opposite Larry David on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm", and we had a good time seeing his stand-up comedy act at Caroline's on Broadway two days before this photo was taken in October, 2005. |
