Life in this Namibian village is very simple.  The men are out earning a living or hunting while the women prepare food and raise the children.  They carry the youngest children on their backs.  There are no modern conveniences, not even electricity.  This woman just bought some lettuce, and apparently sees those chicks as a good food source.
