Kotor, Montenegro

Boka Kotorska (The Bay of Kotor) is sometimes called Europe's southernmost fjord.  It is not a true fjord because it was not formed by glacial movement - instead it is a submerged river canyon.  You can just see the edge of Kotor's Old Town (middle right, where the cruise ship is docked).  The steep Lovćen cliffs surrounding the bay make for a unique environment.
