| This relief is a reminder of the legend of Budva. It is said that a young couple who were not allowed to marry jumped from the city walls and when they touched the waves they turned into fishes. As they disappeared into the depths, a voice was heard saying: "K'o jedno nek budu dva!" (Let the twain be as one!) ---Budu dva--- Thence the name "Budva". |
