Pam stands in front of the Shinkyu (Sacred Stable) at Tosho-gu.  Housed here is the symbol of purity, a white horse which plays a role in the shrines ceremonial events.  Carvings of pine trees and monkeys are over the stable, including the very famous one over Pam's head.
