The Memorial Cenotaph (Hiroshima Peace City Memorial) is at the center of the Peace Park.  It honors the souls lost in the bombing.  Under the granite arch lies a stone coffin.  There are Japanese characters carved on the front of the coffin which say, "Let All The Souls Here Rest In Peace; For We Shall Not Repeat The Evil."  Pam stands in the back while Japanese students linger over this painful reminder.
