Busy Japanese who travel on the bullet trains and want to grab a meal on the go pick up one of these: Bento Boxes.  Known by the Japanese as "O-bento", they are made fresh daily, and those on display are usually made of wax.  We picked up a couple for our trip from the Mt. Fuji area to Kyoto.
