| The 'front door' of the slum home we were in opens to a pathway covered with trash and raw sewage -- and the chickens drink the stagnant water and eat from the garbage. I think you'll agree that we wouldn't want the eggs these chickens produce, nor would we want to eat them! Yet, Dharavi is chock full of healthy, happy people. |
