Pam is reflected in this immense silver urn, one of two located here in Jaipur's city palace and listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest silver vessels in the world. They were commissioned by Madho Singh II to carry holy water from the Ganges River on a trip to England in 1902. They are taller than Pam who stands 5'2". Over 500 pounds of silver was needed to cast each urn, and each holds more than 8,000 gallons! |
