Southern Iceland 2010

After visiting Grímsey Island in the north, we are now in the southernmost village of Iceland, Vík (Vík í Mýrdal in full).  This village is the largest settlement for 70 km around, and is home to about 300 Icelanders.  The village is home to Víkurprjón (Vík Wool) which is well known for its Icelandic wool products.
