The most active and impressive geysir in the Haukadalur valley currently is called "Strokkur".   This one erupts regularly and impressively every 4-8 minutes with a maximum height of about 90 feet.  The first time she saw it erupt, Pam was frightened enough to run away, as you can see in the lower left.  We have a brief video of one of the eruptions HERE.
