| Perlan ("The Pearl") is a landmark in Reykjavik, built atop a hill where originally there had been hot water storage tanks. In 1991 the tanks were updated and the shiny hemispherical structure was placed on top. One of the tanks now houses the Saga Museum and the observation deck provides excellent views over the city. |
