| The view of Matthias Church from the observation deck of Fisherman's Bastion. The church was originally built in Romanesque style in 1015, but the current building was constructed in the late Gothic style in the late 1300's. It has been recently extensively restored, and last time we were here in 2008 the beautiful Gothic tower was completely surrounded by scaffolding. |
