| Welcome to East Greenland! In this land of mountains and ice, this rocky flat area with a gravel airstrip is just about the only place to land an aircraft. That's the passenger terminal on the left and the service facility on the right. This photo is taken about halfway from the airstrip to our hotel, the only one in this area. |
