| This is the New Parish Church in Regensburg, established in 1519 after the destruction of the Jewish Quarter which was located here. The Jewish community in Regensburg was one of the largest and most significant in the former Empire and included a synagogue, yeshiva, and cemetery -- all of which was desecrated and looted. |
