We bought this magnificent work of art while in Limoges. It features one of Marc Chagall's dream-like illustrations printed on Bernardaud's fine Limoges porcelain. This large plate is a mini-version of Chagall's masterpiece 'Sketch for the Opera Ceiling', which is a replica of the amazing artwork seen on the ceiling of the Paris Opera. You can see it on display in our home! |
