Grotte de Font-de-Gaume is the last original cave in France with prehistoric multicolored (polychrome) paintings still open to the public. The government strictly controls the number of visitors and the length of time they are allow (to breathe) inside the cave, so tickets are difficult to come by. We started early and were fortunate to secure tickets and were very excited to be here! |
