| One of the attractions of Suomenlinna is located on the eastern coast of Susisaari island. This is the Vesikko, a World-War II era submarine - one of five U-boats to serve in the Finnish Navy. It served as a direct prototype (named as CV-707) for German Class A II submarines. Nowadays it is a museum, open to the public. |
