Ida Davidsen is world-renowned for the classic Danish lunch sandwiches known as "smørrebrød".  There are many different varieties on display for Pam to choose from.  Nearly all begin with a piece of toasted brown bread which is covered with various items and extensively garnished.  One example: the Hans Christian Andersen has liver pâté, bacon, and tomatoes.
